Gina Gionfriddo’s Becky Shaw can be viewed Wednesday, May 2 through Saturday, May 5 at 8 p.m. and on Sunday, May 6 at 2 p.m. The play will be directed by Nicolas Crisafulli. In this comedy of bad manners, a newlywed couple fixes up two romantically challenged friends. When the wife’s best friend meets the husband’s strange new co-worker, an evening calculated to bring happiness takes a dark turn. Crisis and comedy ensue in this wickedly funny play that asks what we owe people we love as well as strangers who land on our doorstep. Audience discretion is advised. General admission is $12; students and those 55 and older pay $8. This play is at Franklin College’s Théâtre Margot, Johnson Center for Fine Arts, Branigin Boulevard and Grizzly Drive.
