EVENT DESCRIPTION

Franklin College Theatre’s The Grown-Up

The Grown-Up by Jordon Harrison can be viewed at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15 through Saturday, Nov.18 and Sunday, Nov. 19 at 2 p.m.  Nicolas Crisafulli, assistant professor of fine arts and theatre at Franklin College, will direct the play.  Kai receives a magical crystal doorknob from his grandfather that enables him to travel through time and space to see future events in his life. The further along Kai goes, the less he feels he’s seeing his future, but more that he is living life as most people do: all too quickly. Both poignantly sad and zanily funny, the play expands on the idea that life is too short to miss any moment of it.  Audience discretion is advised. General admission is $12; students and those 55 and older pay $8. This play is at Franklin College’s Théâtre Margot, Johnson Center for Fine Arts, Branigin Boulevard and Grizzly Drive
