Looking for a fun way to ring in the new year? With live music, parties, great dining and more, there are plenty of festive ways to celebrate just south of Indy.
SmockTown Brewery in Greenwood will be open late for a Gatsby-inspired evening with live music by The Sad Dad Society (a pop-punk and emo cover band), roaring 20s style, fun drinks, food and costumes.
Head to SIP Cocktails on Main for live music from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m., handcrafted cocktails, food and a toast at midnight. Tickets are required and can be purchased at the link.
As a last hurrah on their final day of business, Richard's Brick Oven Pizza will be hosting live soul and blues music by Frank Dean, Scott Parkhurst, Carl LoSasso and Floyd Tucker from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Of course, Richard's will also be serving up their signature brick oven pizza, calzones, drinks and more.
For a more intimate dining environment and chef-curated menus, visit The Foundry or The Lounge at Garment Factory Events, both located in downtown Franklin and offering special New Year's Eve dining experiences.
For a more casual celebration, gather your friends and head to Hi-Way Lanes in Franklin for their New Year's Eve bowling party. Celebrate with three hours of unlimited bowling, pizza, a DJ and a champagne toast at midnight. Pre-registration is required.
Dave & Buster's will be hosting two New Year's Eve events, one for kids and one for adults. Kids (and their families) are invited to enjoy games, food and sparkling drinks from 4 to 7 p.m. Later, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., there's an adult-focused event with food, fun and a high-energy countdown. All ages are welcome at both events. Click here to register.
Another fun, kid-friendly option is Noon Year's Eve, hosted by Franklin Parks. Celebrate the year with treats, sparkling grape juice and a balloon drop at noon, all without missing bedtime.
