Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day, and some of the best celebrations are just south of Indy.

Head to Tried & True Alehouse on St. Patrick's Eve for live music by Mindy & Eddie and a tap takeover by Sun King Brewery. Music is from 7 to 10 p.m.  On St. Patrick's Day, enjoy food, green beer, and live music. John Ryan performs 1 to 5 p.m., and Trace Thompson performs 6 to 10 p.m.

Enjoy a pub crawl at three Franklin establishments on March 17. There will be exclusive food and drink specials at each location and prizes drawn at the end of the night. Punch cards are $25 and proceeds support KIC-IT, a local non-profit that helps youth who are experiencing homelessness.

Party at Hoosier Brewing Company with an outdoor concert by Wayne Pennington Band. The band will play from 5 to 9 p.m. with food and drinks available for purchase. Plus, concert admission is free.

O'Whits St. Patty's Day Bash is going to be a party. Celebrate the day with food, drinks and music by Cornfield Mafia. Music will be from 9 p.m. to midnight.

BoJak's Bar & Grille in Franklin is celebrating St. Patrick's Day from March 17 to 18 with green beer, Irish drink specials and music by DJ Fly Ty. Click here for ticket information. 

Mallow Run Winery in Bargersville is serving Irish stew and hosting live music on March 11 and 12 during their St. Patrick's Winter Warm Up Weekend.

In Festival Country Indiana, just south of Indy, things are always a little more festive.
