Register to chalk a 3- by 3-foot square in the heart of Ethos Celebration of the Arts for a chance to share your creativity and for a chance to win $100, $50 and $25 cash prizes. Divisions include 0-11 years old, 12-17 years old, and 18+ years old. Artists, beginners, businesses and kids are welcome. Single spaces are 3- by 3-foot squares, but larger configurations are accepted.

The cost to enter is $10 per square and the registration form and fee must be received by June 23 to guarantee a spot, although some spots may be available for late registrants and walk-ups. Payment can be made by cash, check or card. Registration can be done in person at the Festival Country Indiana Visitor Center (66 S. Water St., Franklin), or online at the link.

The location will be in downtown Franklin on Madison Street, in front of Wild Geese Bookshop.

Chalking will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Awards will be given after 2 p.m. and art will remain for viewing until 4 p.m. Festival Country will have chalk available at the event, but attendees can bring their own. Because this is a family event, Festival Country reserves the right to remove offensive content.
