Taxman Brewing Company is excited to announce the release of the beer formerly known as Death & Taxes and Evasion. Introducing Deadline. Given that their annual Death & Taxes Day festival falls on the weekend following the individual tax filing deadline, Deadline felt like a natural choice to replace Evasion, and perhaps more importantly, it was a name available for trademark by Taxman.

While Taxman is unable to host a full scale Death & Taxes Day festival in 2021, they are inviting you to a Deadline Release Block Party celebrating the release of Deadline & Deadline variants. Similar to Death & Taxes Day, they will be hosting the block party between their brewing space and their barrel cellar. The event will be free, family-friendly and will feature live music from The Failers and Dean Martini. There will be several beer, wine and water stations positioned in the block party area, as well as a tent to purchase Deadline & Deadline variants.

About Deadline: The Deadline recipe follows the same formula as its predecessors and the result is a rich, roasted and robust Belgian-style stout aged with Indonesian vanilla beans. The 2021 base version was aged for several months in Kentucky-whiskey barrels providing additional depth and character to the beer.
