The library is hosting its Early Literacy Mini Conference designed to help caregivers and educators build a strong literacy foundation, share ideas and walk away with the resources they need to help children thrive. Throughout the day attendees will have the opportunity to hear from local experts on early development for babies and toddlers, preschool-age and kindergartners. The keynote speaker is author and storyteller, Mary Jo Huff. Mary Jo will be leading a story time and offering a hands-on activity. Registration will also include a swag bag, an early literacy workbook created by library staff, books and resources. Five hours of professional credit is available. This event is for adults only.
