Franklin College will host the first event in its 2025-26 Convocation Lecture Series in the Branigin Room in the Napolitan Student Center.
The event will be a community conversation with Jane Nemcova, who will present "When Machines Think, What Must Humans Become?"
Based in San Francisco, Ollang is an AI-first platform powering multilingual execution at enterprise scale. As its chief revenue officer, Nemcova leads global go-to-market strategy for the company. A veteran AI and localization executive, she has built and led large-scale AI data and language initiatives for Google, Apple, Meta, Microsoft and Amazon. She also founded and scaled Lionbridge AI and played a key leadership role at Moravia prior to its acquisition by RWS. In addition, she serves as an adjunct professor at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, where she launched one of the first graduate programs focused on AI and language technologies.integrity, a commitment to inclusivity, a culture of intellectual curiosity, the drive for innovation and creativity and the spirit of community.
