People can decorate a gnome (click the link for details), then can visit gnome field at the north end of the Johnson County Fairgrounds March 26 to April 1. On April 1, from 8 a.m. to noon, people can vote for their favorite gnome. There is also an easter egg hunt on April 1 for ages 5 and younger at 10 a.m., ages 6 to 11 at 10:30 a.m., and ages 12 to 15 at 11 a.m. Entry fee is two cans of food per child. There will also be a special guest. Proceeds benefit charity.
