• Live Nativity from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Tabernacle Christian Church at 198 N. Water St.
• Food vendors from noon to 7 p.m. on West Court Street and at the amphitheater, 237 W. Monroe St.
  
• Winter market from 1 to 8 p.m. on North Main Street and on the second floor of the Elks Lodge at 56 E. Jefferson St.
  
• Visit with Santa from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Johnson County Museum, 135 N. Main St. The museum's decorated trees can be viewed from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Holiday cookie contest at Mutual Savings Bank
• Christmas movie showings at 2 and 7:30 p.m. at The Historic Artcraft Theatre, 57 N. Main St.
• A Christmas concert at 3:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 100 E. Madison St.
• Lighted parade - 5:30 p.m. starting on Jackson Street (in the amphitheater parking lot), going east on Jefferson Street, and south on Home Avenue.
• Live entertainment from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on West Court Street
  
• Lighting of the courthouse at 7 p.m.
