Mark was the leader of the Special Forces team, ODA595, that hit the ground in Afghanistan on October 19, 2001 as a direct response to the attacks of 9/11. This team was given horses by the Northern Alliance and rode into multiple battles. That team later became known as The Horse Soldiers and has been featured in the movie “12 Strong," as well as the documentary “Legion of Brothers." Mark is one of the founders of Horse Soldier Bourbon and is proud to bring these legendary spirits to Indiana.
