Planning the Perfect Valentine's Day

For Couples

Create your own heart-shaped candle and wax melts with your special someone on Feb. 10 during this Valentine's candle workshop.

Mark your calendars for Valentine's Dinner and Dancing on Feb. 10. Enjoy live music by Castlewood Singers and Cool City Band, a buffet dinner, dancing, cocktail hour and more at The Sycamore at Mallow Run. Visit the website to purchase tickets.

On Feb. 10, enjoy a wedding reception celebrating all married couples. This event is hosted at Our Lady of Greenwood and will be an evening of food, dancing and prizes.

Visit Main & Madison Market Café on Feb. 13 for Charcuterie & Cocktails. Enjoy special charcuterie boards, cocktails, beer and wine, then head upstairs to browse goods from local vendors.

Sample bourbon and wine with your valentine on Feb. 13 at Antilogy. There will also be a special dinner menu. RSVP is required.

Celebrate Valentine's Day at The Lounge at Garment Factory Events as they host a romantic dinner with a special menu and live music. RSVP is required.

Join Attic Hardware, the cool speakeasy above SmockTown Brewery, for a special evening on Feb. 14 with special cocktails, half-priced bottles of wine, desserts, live music and roses for the ladies.

There will also be special Valentine's Day dinners at Court Street Café, Sassafras Tea Room and Grillerz. Reservations are highly recommended.

The Greenwood Community Center is hosting a parent and child Valentine's dance on Feb. 9 for mothers, fathers, daughters and sons. 

Dive into the history of Valentine’s Day at the Johnson County Museum on Feb. 10. The museum will be providing materials for guests to make a one-of-a-kind Valentine. This event is free and suitable for all ages.

Learn how to decorate Valentine's cookies at Bella Rose Design on Feb. 10.

On Feb. 10, grab your dancing shoes and invite your dance partner for a father/daughter and mother/son dance at Indian Creek Middle School.

Enjoy heart-shaped pizza, cookies and drinks while watching the Harlem Wizards put on a show of trick shot basketball on Feb. 14 at Indian Creek High School.

Make festive Valentine's cookies at Millie's Ice Cream Co. on Feb. 17.

Celebrate Galentine's Day in Old Town Greenwood with special discounts, gifts and prizes at participating businesses, as well as a photo booth, pink sangria and great food at Vino Villa. Find the fun on Feb. 8. 

Head to Wild Sapphire for Galentine's Girls Night featuring free wine and snacks, hair tinsel styling, custom graphic tees, raffles and more on Feb. 9.

The ABCs of Galentine's (activity, breakfast, coffee and canvas, of course) will be happening on Feb. 12 and will be an evening of fun and personal development.

Enjoy an evening of trivia, wine and food at Mallow Run Winery while putting your chick flick knowledge to the test. This will be on Feb. 16 at The Sycamore at Mallow Run.
