Downtown Franklin is a little spookier in late September and all of October now that dozens of businesses and organizations are displaying skeletons in various poses and outfits inside and outside their buildings.

The skeleton painting the exterior of Farm Girl Mercantile is just one example. People are encouraged to walk around and get their photo taken with the skeletons, some of which are given different looks each day.
