Come view the paintings of Greenwood artist Patricia Voelz, who began her painting career at an early age. She started drawing and coloring Disney characters and creating some of her own. Making art has been her “go to” all of her life. Her older sister, Bette, also an artist, colored with her and made her color in the lines. Patricia is known for her creative and totally original paintings and drawings. She began painting in oils and later gravitated into acrylics. She also has been hooked on Zentangle as a fun way to create. Watercolor has become a faithful friend also. She has studied under several qualified instructors to learn different techniques and to apply new ideas to her paintings. You will also see collage, which includes a way to use puzzle pieces to create unique art. She is always searching for new ideas and is eager to give them a try such as abstract art in addition to landscape and portrait painting. She is so grateful for all of the instructors and exceptional friends who have inspired her to create new art.
