The Best of Autumn

With beautiful views, charming downtowns and fall fun happening every weekend, there's no better time to explore Festival Country Indiana, located just south of Indianapolis. Whether you're seeking outdoor adventures, culinary delights or charming downtowns, you'll find them here.

Kelsay Farms

Visit Kelsay Farms in Whiteland for a taste of farm life. This family-owned farm transforms into an autumn oasis come fall. Navigate your way through their legendary seven-acre corn maze, play in the corn crib, climb on the hay bale mountain, ride the Moo Choo, meet friendly farm animals and more.

Kelsay Farms is open for the fall 2025 season every Friday through Sunday from Sept. 26 to Oct. 26, and every day from Oct. 3 to 19. Tickets are available on their website or at the gate.

The Apple Works

This picturesque orchard is the place to find delicious apples and apple treats (think apple dumplings, apple cider slushies and apple cider donuts) and make unforgettable fall memories. Enjoy the pumpkin patch, corn maze, farm playground, petting zoo, food vendors, live music, hayrides and more.

Beyond the fall attractions and delicious apples, you can also shop for locally made treasures, like cozy candles and unique decor, in the vintage barn.

Fall fun at Apple Works happens every weekend from the end of September through the end of October. Apples, apple treats, produce and locally made items are available throughout the week, all year long.

Fall festivals and concerts

With more than 1,000 festivals and events in Festival Country every year, you're sure to find your fun. Kick back and enjoy live music at outdoor concerts in Franklin, Bargersville and Greenwood all season. Sip locally grown wine and hear live music at Mallow Run Winery. Soak up the fall vibes, shop from local vendors, see Instagram-worthy art installations and experience charming downtowns at one of the countless fall festivals throughout the county. Or, explore the area while hunting for decorated scarecrows during Scarecrow Madness.

Find all this and more on our event page.

Fall drive

One of the best ways to soak up the vibrant colors and fall scenery is with a leaf-peeping drive along peaceful country roads. This drive is enjoyable all year, but is especially beautiful in the fall. Share your photos on social media using #festcountryin and tagging @festcountryin, or via email at info@festivalcountryindiana.com for a chance to win a Festival Country T-shirt.
