What's Hopping in Festival Country This Easter

The Easter Bunny is delivering eggs, hosting breakfasts, smiling for photos and flying on helicopters this season. Check out all the Easter festivities happening just south of Indy.

On April 16, enjoy Easter festivities in downtown Edinburgh including breakfast and photos with the Easter Bunny and an Easter parade. Pre-register for breakfast and photos by visiting the Edinburgh Parks and Recreation office or calling 812-447-6076 for more information.

Toodleydoo is hosting free Easter Bunny visits with no required registration. Bring your camera and stop by from 10 a.m. to noon on select weekend days in April.

At Johnson County Park, the adults get to have the fun with their own 18-and-older Easter egg hunt. The prizes range from goofy to valuable. Pre-registration is required and closes on April 1. Contact kleonard@co.johnson.in.us or 812-526-6809 to register.

The Greenwood Park Mall has several Easter opportunities this year. On April 3, they will have Caring Bunny, an opportunity for children with special needs to get a photo with the Easter Bunny in an exclusive, subdued and welcoming environment. The mall will also be hosting pet photos on April 10 and traditional Easter Bunny photos from March 18 to April 16. Registration is recommended but not required.

Have you seen the Easter Bunny fly in on a helicopter? At the Trafalgar Indiana Memorial on April 9, you can. Enjoy egg hunts for different age groups, a fish and tenderloin fry, face painting, and see the Easter Bunny arrive by helicopter. No registration required.

Bunny Lunch is coming to Mallow Run Winery on April 16. Enjoy a buffet lunch, crafts for kids, an egg hunt in the vineyard and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Adults will also be able to purchase special cocktails from the bar. Register here.

Get an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast, a free egg hunt and face painting at Bargersville’s Breakfast with the Bunny. The event will take place at Maple Grove Elementary on April 16. Purchase tickets here.

Come out for an Easter egg hunt in the heart of Franklin at Province Park. Kids ages two through 10 are invited to participate. This is fast-paced egg hunt, so plan to arrive early.

Prince’s Lakes is hosting Easter egg hunts for five different age groups as well as photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Registration is not required. The event will take place on April 9.
