Every year, businesses and homes in Festival Country don their best decorations and create captivating holiday light displays for all to enjoy. Jump in the car and check out these lights. All are free unless otherwise noted.
Bargersville
Head to Tecumseh Way inside Bargersville's Somerset neighborhood for a dazzling holiday light show . Tune your radio to 88.1 FM, turn off your car lights and park in the middle of the court for the best viewing experience. This display runs from around 6 to 11 p.m. through the month of December.
Drive through the Aberdeen subdivision at 5028 Abbeygate Blvd. to see beautifully decorated homes.
Franklin
You can't have the Christmas season without a stroll through downtown Franklin. For the month of December, the courthouse square is illuminated in twinkling lights. It feels like stepping into a Hallmark movie.
Visit Martin Place (located off North Main Street) in downtown Franklin to see large historic homes that are known for their festive decorations. Other homes in Franklin will also be competing in Franklin Light Fight. Competing homes will be marked with signs in their yards and there will be maps so viewers can drive around and see all the displays.

Drive to 6211 N. 500 East in Franklin to experience Christmas Acres. There are more than 160,000 lights on display at this five-acre property that visitors can drive through and enjoy from 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 26 through Jan. 1. Admission is free, but they're collecting non-perishable food items for the local food pantry that can be dropped off at the end of the front sidewalk.
See a life-sized lighted Nativity scene on the front lawn of Otterbein Senior Life, located at 1070 W. Jefferson St.
Visit 943 Redwood Dr. in Franklin to enjoy Miclette’s Rockin’ Light Show and take selfies with Elfie the Elf. Tune your car radio to 99.1 FM for synchronized music, or enjoy the sound system if you’re walking by. This display is lit from Nov. 29 through Dec. 31. The hours are 5:30 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5:30 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Greenwood
Stroll through the Greenwood Amphitheater Lighted Trail at 100 Surina Way from December 7 to 31 to see thousands of twinkling lights. The lights are on from dusk to dawn.
See Greenwood's Who-Ville Whobilation on Reed Court in Greenwood's Clearbrook Lakes neighborhood. There is also a mailbox for kids to drop letters to Mr. Grinch (and have the chance to receive a reply). The display will be lit from Dec. 8 to 22. Whiteland
The Holiday Stroll at Kelsay Farms is a favorite tradition every year because of its impressive Christmas light displays, visits with Santa, hot chocolate, photo opportunities and more. Experience the magic with the whole family. Tickets are required and can be purchased at the gate or in advance via their website. Open dates are Nov. 28 through Dec. 23 from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
Other
Visit Christmas at the Farm at 7591 W. 600 South in Morgantown to enjoy a drive-thru light show from 6 to 10 p.m. Dec. 20 to Jan. 1. Admission is free, but they are collecting non-perishable food items for Johnson County Senior Services. On Dec. 20, there will also be live holiday characters, free hot chocolate and donuts.
